A KNX-based lighting control system was implemented for the lobby lounge and all-day dining area at Pullman Resort in Ras Al Khaimah.
The system controls lobby lighting, corridor lighting, and dining area lighting through a combination of sensors, timers, and photocells. Multiple lighting control technologies including DALI dimming, phase dimming, and on/off switching were integrated to provide flexible lighting control across different areas of the resort.
The solution also includes scene control through keypads, touch panels, sensors, and a mobile application, allowing efficient lighting management and improved ambiance for hospitality setups.

Based on our analysis and project requirements, we implemented a KNX lighting control system using Schneider Electric KNX modules.
The lighting solution integrates DALI dimming, phase dimming, and standard on/off switching to support various lighting fixtures used throughout the resort spaces. Sensors, timers, and photocells were integrated to automate lighting behavior and improve energy efficiency.
Scene-based lighting control was implemented using keypads, touch panels, and mobile application control, allowing staff to easily adjust lighting depending on operational needs or guest experience.
The lighting system uses DALI dimming technology, allowing smooth and precise adjustment of lighting levels throughout the lobby lounge and dining areas. Staff can easily adjust lighting intensity to create the right atmosphere for daytime service, evening dining, or special hospitality events.
